It was a slow Saturday, and we at other magazine decided to spend part of it redesigning the Website — as well as trolling Google for images of cats at sea. You can see the logic behind all this, can’t you? What we discovered is that felines on the ocean are such a rarity that the top hit for “cat on the ocean” in Google images is this picture. It’s sort of the Platonic form of furry beefcake pinup art — an anthropomorphic cat lounging on the beach in a Batman-style utility belt. He’s even got some beers, a soccer ball, and what appear to be some discarded bracelets and earrings on the towel with him.

Thanks to Kiriko, who completely redesigned the Website despite the fact that she had to use a Mac. She points out that cats do not live on the sea. Thanks to Jackson, who helped with PHP, and Liz, who blog-wrangled. Charlie made us tea and brought us water. Melinda brought us soft, tasty cookies. Yes, it was a great afternoon in our furry suits. And I wrote this blog entry, ladies and gentlemen and others. Yup, that’s what I did.
